Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a school
in Kissimmee, FL. This contract role requires a dedicated
professional to provide therapy services to early childhood through
elementary-aged students, specifically PreK to 5th grade. The
position offers a caseload-focused opportunity to make a meaningful
impact on children's communication development. Key
Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments and
provide individualized therapy for students from PreK to 5th grade
Develop and implement treatment plans targeting communication
disorders common in early childhood and elementary school settings
Utilize communication devices and visual supports to address
sensory needs and enhance therapy engagement Manage behavior
challenges effectively while creating a positive learning
environment Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
to support student progress Qualifications: Current Florida
Department of Health (FL DOH) license as a Speech-Language
Pathologist is required Experience working with pediatric
populations in early childhood and elementary school settings
Knowledge and use of augmentative and alternative communication
devices Skilled in implementing visual supports and strategies to
accommodate sensory and behavioral needs Strong communication and
interpersonal skills for teamwork within a school environment
Position Details: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Contract term
beginning in March and continuing through the end of May Location:
