Job Description:

Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for the electronic design of a product. The SR EE will apply knowledge of electronic circuits, coding of micro controllers, signal processing, and communication networks to design small low and micro-power systems and components for retail security.

• BSEE required, MSEE desired, with 10-15+ yrs. design experience
• Hardware and embedded design and development of digital and analog circuits
• Design and write microcontroller code using appropriate development tools
• Ownership of the design from concept through production, driving successful launch against aggressive timetables.
• Effectively communicate with cross functional team members at VPG, external suppliers, partners, customers as needed
• Proven ability to coach technicians and/or less senior engineers with experience or desire to manage.
• The ideal candidate would be described by others as a smart, clever, hands-on, out-of-the-box thinker who gets the job done right and delivers when promised.TravelTravel may be required to customer installations, test sites, suppliers, or other locations to support design efforts.
