This is a technically challenging environment requiring hands-on customer relationship experience. This calibration lab supports a variety of customers nationally with physical/dimensional, DC/LF, and RF/microwave calibration and repair services. This person will be Senior Calibration Technician who will meet our customer's current calibration needs, understand ISO certifications, improve, and expand the lab's capabilities for growth.
RESPONSIBILITIESCalibrate and troubleshoot and repair of electrical /electronic and physical/dimensional measuring instruments, with expertise in the following:

• Torque wrenches and drivers
• Calipers and Micrometers
• Scales and balances
• Vacuum/Pressure Gauges
• Temperature/Humidity devices
• DC Supplies and Loads
• Multimeters (handheld, precision)
• Semiconductor Analyzers
• Logic Analyzers
• Electrometers
• LCR Meters
• Oscilloscopes (to 20 GHz)
  • RF signal Generators, and Spectrum/Network Analyzers (to 18 GHz)
    Advanced Calibration Training (U.S. military/NASA/ or equivalent).
    Ability to understand electronic circuits, theory, and schematics.
    Working Knowledge of: MS Office (Word and Excel), Automated Calibration software (MetCal)
    Capable of heavy lifting (> 50lbs).
    
    Must have a valid driver's license.
    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
    • Must be able to calibrate the equipment listed above in "Responsibilities"
    • K1, K2, K8: DC/Electrical Standards Calibrations
    • K3, K4: Frequency/RF calibrations
    • K5: Temperature/Humidity calibrations (large emphasis)
    • K6: Physical Dimensional Test Equipment calibrations
    • K9: Automated Test Equipment (Fluke Met/Cal)
      EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
      Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience
