Service CenterRiverviewJob SummaryRefinish all assigned vehicles
to pre-accident condition according to the written work-order,
effectively diagnose and refinish vehicles thoroughly, safely, and
profitably in a manner according to Caliber S.O.P., insurance
partner and OEM industry guidelines/standardsEssential Job
DutiesResponsible for following proper repair procedures and
performs all refinish procedures according to factory
specifications and Caliber policy to restore damaged vehicles to
their original structural appearanceUtilize air sanders, spray
guns, sanding blocks, etc. in order to complete quality workManage
& control materials cost maximizing usage and inventoryPrepare
color tint to match paint color; Mix paint colors, and ensure all
formulations, preparations, top coating and curing meet OEM
recommended standards for proper application sequence, timing and
materials usageFollow all paint manufacturing guidelinesSpray test
panels for each vehicle to ensure color matchAssist in prep work
when necessaryEnsure that all paint operations are complete, all
masking is removed, and all prior paint-related disassembly has
been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body
technicianComplete QC sheet for every vehicle as applicableAdhere
to all regulatory compliance guidelines for hazardous waste
disposal Maintain clean, orderly and organized work areaComply with
Caliber safety rules, guidelines and standardsPerform other duties
as required to successfully meet the needs of the
businessSkill/RequirementsTypically has a minimum of 3-5 years of
refinishing experienceAuto Body Vo-Tech certificate or ASE
certification in refinishing preferredMust be at least 18 years of
ageMust have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage
under Caliber's insurance policy (Not an excluded driver)Comply
with all safety requirements, respirator safety, and fitment/usage.
Maintain compliance to pass required safety mask fit testAbility to
effectively communicate with others, oral and writtenAdvanced
communication to mentor/coach/train apprentices as requiredAbility
to read and understand basic instructions, written estimates and
work ordersMulti-taking; adapts easily to fast-paced

Working ConditionsPosition is based in a normal shop environment.
Frequent physical activity such as kneeling, bending, squatting,
stooping, lifting above shoulders is a part of daily activity as
well as repetitive tasks involving hand and arm motion and lifting
objects over 50 pounds. Must be able to push/pull parts carts and
cars with assistance. Working environment consists of: Exposure to
fumes, chemicals, dust, along with high levels of noise. Caliber
enforces the Mandatory requirement to wear protective equipment.
Must have manual dexterity to operate equipment. Subject to weather
conditions both inside and outside. Must have visual acuity to
determine the accuracy and thoroughness of the work assigned.
