The Client Implementations organization, within Securities Services Operations, has global responsibility for Client Implementations across these Securities Services products.

This role is client-facing role and requires a clear understanding of the clients requirements in order to effectively oversee and project manage the clients implementation across the various securities services products, such as Custody and Funds. Excellent communication and project management skills are essential.


The candidate must be able to consult with clients to understand their needs throughout the implementations process, then coordinate multi-disciplinary internal and client meetings until asset migration. The candidate will also be responsible for coordination and oversight of the opening of accounts across multiple regions, while also simultaneously managing multiple workstreams. The candidate must ensure all approvals, signoffs by the client and stakeholders are obtained, timelines and responsibilities are communicated, and hand-off to the ongoing responsible teams is effectively completed.

Specific areas of responsibility include:

  • Manage client implementations with strong project management tools and process
  • Determine key objectives, milestones, time frame, procedures for accomplishing project, and capacity needs for various phases of project
  • Confer with clients on solution, offer beneficial alternatives, and act as trusted advisor
  • Develop, review and communicate project plan(s) to peers and senior management
  • Engage with project staff and stakeholders to outline project plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
  • Direct and coordinate activities of project stakeholders to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed standards
  • Track, follow up and support all requests through to completion, advising all involved parties when a request is complete.
  • Comply with all audit, regulatory and compliance directives.
  • Proactively identify/manage operational risk
  • Implement best practice processes and controls to achieve high quality output and exceptional service delivery
  • Serve as an effective point of escalation on behalf of client
  • Adhere to all Citis policies and procedures

Qualifications & skills:

  • Excellent project management skills, PMP certified preferred
  • BA/BS degree with 5+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple internal and external relationships and projects
  • Effective issue resolution and escalation skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint)
