to internal and external quality standards and assists the
customer, sales representatives, suppliers and division personnel
with establishing achievable quality standards. Communicates
customer expectations to staff, manufacturing personnel and
suppliers. Responsibilities: Assists in establishing, promoting and
coordinating lines of communication between the customer, sales
representatives, suppliers and division personnel Interacts with
customers, suppliers, vendors and division personnel regarding
quality and production issues Attends job production pre-planning
meetings Evaluates the input material on a job and guides the
customers, helping them deliver material that will produce a high
quality job Performs press color approvals for both internal and
external jobs Assists in the development of procedures and
techniques for reducing process variation and manufacturing delays
Assists manufacturing personnel in establishing standards of
quality to be used and certifying that established company and
industry standards have been met Evaluates process output and
supplied materials for compliance with established standards
Communicates with sales, customer service and the customer to
resolve quality issues Negotiate resolution of customer or
manufacturing complaints Assist in creating and maintaining the
statistical process control program May be responsible for ISO
programs within the division Duties include reviewing documents,
preparing for audits, conducting audits, following up on
implementation issues and training as it relates to ISO Serves as
the EHS Program Champion for the facility working closely with the
facility management staff and the Regional EHS Manager Ensures
completion of required employee environmental, safety and health
training orientation Maintains monthly EHS injury & program metrics
(e.g., OSHA Recordkeeping, Task Tracker, etc.) Keep track of
spoilage and root causes and solutions Performs other related
duties and participates in special projects as assigned
Qualifications Bachelor degree in discipline related to functional
work or role with up to 3 years of relevant work experience Able to
translate previous work experience in to very good problem-solving
skills and appropriately apply proven solutions Consistently
deliver prescribed outcomes in a timely and accurate manner with
appropriate guidance Apply existing processes and procedures to
solve problems and may receive guidance for problems that are
non-routine Able to apply very good functional computer knowledge
in utilizing Microsoft Windows, MAC or other technical tools to
complete work assignments May require knowledge of, or ability to
quickly learn specialized software related to the position Requires
good communication skills, both verbal and written Able to
understand general business concepts and apply them when
communicating with diverse groups of people when completing work
assignments Very good knowledge of printing and color theory.
Additional Information RRD's current salary range for this role is
$52,900 to $79,400 / year. The salary range may be adjusted based
on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and
the range may change in the future. At RRD, it is not typical for
an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their
role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not
limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance,
shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base
salary, the total compensation package may also include
participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. RRD’s
