Job Description Job Description About the Role We are seeking an
experienced Legal Assistant to join a collaborative,
high-performing legal team. This is a newly opened role. The ideal
candidate will bring strong tenure, reliability, and a commitment
to delivering high-quality work. Candidates must have 5 years of
legal assistant experience in financial services, civil litigation,
or commercial litigation , demonstrate exceptional attention to
detail, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with
high expectations. Key Responsibilities Draft, prepare, and
proofread legal documents and correspondence E-file in state and
federal courts Assist attorneys with preparation for depositions,
hearings, mediations, and trials Schedule hearings, depositions,
mediations, and related proceedings Open, maintain, and organize
client files and case materials Prepare binders, folders, and
supporting documentation Conduct client conflict checks Maintain
attorney calendars and provide timely reminders Prioritize and
manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency Required Skills
& Experience Minimum 5 years of legal assistant experience Strong
familiarity with legal procedures and terminology Understanding of
Federal and Florida Rules of Civil Procedure Proficiency in
Microsoft Word , Outlook, and Excel Ability to type 65 WPM with
high accuracy Experience with e-service and e-filing platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Outstanding time
management and multitasking abilities Detail-oriented, dependable,
and adaptable Comfortable assisting with tasks outside a narrow job
description Ability to work well both independently and within a
team Proprietary software can be taught; strong learning aptitude
is valued Work Environment Tight-knit, collaborative, supportive

and operate with an all hands on deck mindset Full onsite presence
required; eligibility for one remote day per week after one year
