for the role of Senior Vice President, Quality Engineer to join our
Wealth Services team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL Or
Jersey City, NJ In this role, you’ll make an impact in the
following ways: Develop and maintain automated test scripts for
front-end applications using technologies such as Angular, NodeJS,
JavaScript, and TypeScript. Implement back-end API testing using
industry-standard tools and frameworks like Jmeter, Selenium
(Webdriver), Jasmine, and Cucumber. Collaborate with development
and QA teams to integrate automated testing into the continuous
integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline. Demonstrate
proficiency in Python, C or Java for back-end automation and
scripting tasks. Utilize your expertise in JavaScript and
TypeScript to develop and enhance front-end test scripts,
particularly for Angular applications. Apply Test-Driven
Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
methodologies to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficient
collaboration with cross-functional teams. Work with testing
frameworks such as Jmeter for performance testing, Selenium for web
application testing, Jasmine for front-end unit testing, Cucumber
for behavior-driven testing, and API-based frameworks for testing
back-end services. Leverage tools like Veracode and SonarQube to
conduct security assessments and ensure code quality standards are
met. Utilize Playwright for end-to-end testing of Angular 16
applications, focusing on maintaining high-quality and reliable
test suites. Familiarity with Oracle databases for ensuring the
integrity and correctness of data in testing scenarios. Stay
updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices,
bringing new ideas and innovative approaches to the testing
process. Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams,
including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to
ensure a shared understanding of testing requirements. To be
successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelors
degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent
work experience required; advanced degree is beneficial 12 years of
experience in a systems quality environment required; experience in
the securities or financial services industry is a plus. Proven
experience as a Quality Engineer with a focus on both front-end and
back-end automation. Strong programming skills in Python, C or
Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Experience with testing
frameworks such as Jmeter, Selenium, Jasmine, and Cucumber.
Familiarity with SonarQube for code quality assessments. Knowledge
of Playwright for end-to-end testing of Angular applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent

compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this
position is expected to be between $83,000 and $165,000 per year at
the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will
be determined on an individualized basis, including as to
experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total
compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also
include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and
long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit
programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the
right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary
payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related
to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company
or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
