Sodexo Live! is currently accepting applications for Cook II at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida The Cook II position performs as a mid-level short order or grill cook among its peer cook positions. The Cook II will assume stations requiring a moderate level of difficulty and will perform responsibilities for food preparation that require a more sophisticated level of detail, experience and expertise than Cook III, but not as complex as the Cook I. QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: Required: Flexible working schedule includes nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to communicate well with direct supervisors, clients, and other staff. Prepare and coordinate orders to ensure they are cooked in a timely, accurate, consistent and quality manner. Have a working knowledge of all culinary equipment. Serve Safe Certification required. Ability to work under pressure and independently. 1 year experience in food preparation in a fast-paced environment. Comply with Health Department regulations and requirements, as well as Sodexo Live's standards for sanitation and safe food handling. NOTE: Other requirements will be discussed during the interview.
