Job DescriptionResponsible for the direct daily supervision of pharmacy service representatives (PSRs) personnel providing proactive compliance and ordering calls for all medications dispensed by CVS Caremark Specialty Pharmacy Network. Supervised activities include those outlined in reporting employee essential duties and responsibilities. Critical responsibilities include participation in the hiring process, provision of guidance and direction to staff, schedule preparation and management, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures, staff training, problem solving and follow-up, performance monitoring and evaluation, including corrective action, and data gathering and report preparation.Required Qualifications3+ years of experience working in a managerial or supervisory position. Has demonstrated experience and leadership skills to lead others. Previous specialty pharmacy services function experience preferred.Preferred QualificationsIn addition to mastery of PSR position, is able to train others and serves as resource inside and outside of the department. Must be potentially proficient in other job areas, especially if in a small pharmacy. This could include inventory functions and pharmacy technician functions if applicable. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or member of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to customers both internal and external. . Ability to apply basic accounting principles and analyze financial reports. Ability to identify and solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions. Ability to analyze, interpret and resolve performance issues. Basic computer skills required including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel spreadsheets. Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and detail orientation important for this position. Ability to respond to change easily by prioritizing activities and to work simultaneously on multiple projects. Must be able to work under pressure to respond to the needs of customers. Position requires the ability to be on-call.EducationH.S.
