lives of others? WHAT YOU WILL DO: The Refugee Social Integration
Coordinator is a non-exempt position responsible for the day-to-day
coordination of the Refugee Integration Services Program to ensure
that refugees attain self-sufficiency through service delivery. The
Coordinator oversees all direct service aspects of the program,
including walk-ins, intakes, data entry, report writing, referrals
for services, staff lead and development, as well as community
outreach and volunteer recruitment. Oversee daily operations of the
Refugee Integrated Services (Employment, Tiered Case Management,
and Youth/Mentor Services) Provide administrative support to the
program Monitor all client service aspects related to Refugee
Integrated Services and ensure that program outcome objectives are
being met Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual narrative and data
reports for review and submission by Directors Support the
recruitment, training, and the leading of direct service staff,
volunteers and interns Develop relationships with social service
partners to identify and secure additional resources for clients
Coordinate all in-kind donations Ensure that assessments,
screenings, intakes, service plans, and family self-sufficiency
plans are completed to reflect the needs and goals of clients
Ensure that files and client documentation are kept organized and
in an orderly, appropriate manner Ensure that payments made to or
on behalf of clients are accurate and in accordance with Gulf Coast
JFCS and funder guidelines Assist in the preparation of reports for
the Finance and Program departments Assist in securing and
maintaining mutually beneficial training partnerships with area
colleges and universities focused on volunteer training and
recruitment Prepare and collect documentation and update databases
Assist with planning and publicity for program events, such as
outreach, educational, and engagement activities Perform all other

degree in social work, international studies, human development, or
related field strongly desired? Must demonstrate cross-cultural
experience Experience working with refugees strongly preferred
Knowledge of community organizations and resources Effective verbal
and written communication skills Ability to deal professionally,
courteously, and efficiently with clients and other employees
Computer literate and competent using Microsoft Office (Word,
PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) Bilingual, preferably in languages
most spoken by clients Ability to work under stressful client
situations Ability to work overtime Ability to lift and/or carry
office supplies, files, household goods, etc. up to 25 lbs Office
and field work required Will be required to use their personal
vehicle to transport clients. Must have a U.S. valid driver's
