Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Radiology Technologist specialized in Radiation Safety and Imaging Expertise to join our dedicated team. This role is crucial for ensuring high-quality imaging services that comply with safety standards to support patient diagnosis and therapeutic procedures. You will work within our state-of-the-art facilities, leveraging advanced imaging technology to deliver optimal patient outcomes while adhering to our commitment to safety and excellence. Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures using various types of imaging equipment, adjusting techniques as needed. Enforce radiation safety protocols to ensure patient and staff safety. Maintain imaging equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues. Collaborate with healthcare team members to discuss and evaluate patient care and treatment plans. Keep accurate patient records and manage documentation of all procedures according to regulatory and departmental standards. Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on industry trends and advancements. Proficiency in various imaging technologies, including X-ray, MRI, and CT. Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and protocols. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Skill in critical thinking and decision-making. Technical aptitude for maintaining and troubleshooting imaging equipment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license required. Certified in radiation safety protocols. Advanced certification in MRI, CT Technology, or similar is preferred.
