Job Description:
As part of HCA Healthcare, a leading network offering medical
care across numerous sites, the RN at Hillsborough Avenue
Freestanding ER plays a pivotal role. This position demands a
compassionate, detail-oriented individual to deliver exceptional
nursing care in a fast-paced emergency setting. Our RNs are crucial
to our mission of improving human life by providing direct patient
care, working in a team to address a wide range of medical
situations, and ensuring the upkeep of HCA’s high standards.
Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on
the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record,
and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions. Maintain
accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality standards.
Participate in the development and modification of care plans in
conjunction with the healthcare team. Administer medications as
prescribed and monitor responses. Advise patients on health
maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.
Strong clinical skills with an ability to handle emergency
responses. High proficiency in using medical software and
electronic health records. Ability to communicate effectively with
patients, families, and medical staff. Excellent decision-making
and problem-solving skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) licensed
to practice in the state. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
