(PTA) degree, active Physical Therapy Assistant license, and 1
years Physical Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants
who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is needed to support a diverse
K-12 student population in a school district located in Eustis, FL.
This full-time contract assignment runs from ASAP through May 29,
2026, providing essential therapy services across multiple schools.
Candidates with school-based PTA experience are strongly preferred,
as the role requires working within educational settings and
alongside school staff to support student mobility and physical
development. Key Details: Location: Eustis, FL (serving
approximately 16 schools across the district) Schedule: Full-Time,
37.5 hours/week (8 hours/day plus 30 minutes unpaid break) Contract
Duration: Immediate start through 5/29/2026 Caseload: Approximately
100 K-12 students with physical therapy needs Employment Type:
On-site Responsibilities: Provide physical therapy services to
students in compliance with Individualized Education Programs
(IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, parents, and medical
professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate and
timely documentation of therapy services delivered Monitor and
adapt therapy interventions to meet student needs Assist in
developing and implementing therapeutic strategies within the
school environment Qualifications: Valid Physical Therapist
Assistant license required Prior experience in school-based
physical therapy is mandatory Strong communication and
organizational skills Ability to manage multiple sites and a
