Job Description:
HCA Florida Brandon Hospital, a leader in medical services
including emergency care and specialized surgeries, is seeking a
dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team.
The Radiology Technologist will be responsible for providing
high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a patient-centered
environment, contributing to our commitment to innovation and
excellence in patient care. This role requires proficiency in
multiple imaging modalities as the technologist will operate in
mixed radiology functions. Perform routine and specialized
radiographic exams including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs adhering to
prescribed safety standards. Prepare patients and equipment for
radiology procedures and ensure accurate diagnostics are delivered.
Maintain radiographic equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure
adherence to all hospital protocols and safety standards.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to discuss clinical
procedures and outcomes. Manage records and maintain
confidentiality and security of patient’s imaging data. Guide
patients throughout the radiology process, providing clear
instructions and reassuring support. Participate in ongoing
education and training to stay abreast of advancements in
radiological technology and procedures. Proficiency with
radiological equipment including X-ray, MRI, and CT machines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively
interact with patients and team members. Experience with radiology
information systems (RIS) and picture archiving and communication
systems (PACS). Ability to work successfully in both independent
and team environments. Capability to maintain a high level of
accuracy and attention to detail. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified and
registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Valid state licensure as a
Radiologic Technologist where applicable.
