Must have either Acute Care or LTAC experience. Description: This position involves evaluating and treating patients within a rehabilitation setting. The unit provides a variety of patient diagnoses ranging from outpatient orthopedic surgeries to heart transplants. Physical therapy is referred for approximately 75% of all patients, demonstrating its critical role in the operation. The rehabilitation department has about 40 caregivers, including 10 physical therapists during the day shift. Patient lists are maxed out at 13, providing an opportunity for focused care. Preferred skills include ICU experience, which will be prioritized during the hiring process. The ideal candidate believes in teamwork and possesses a positive, can-do attitude.
