RN - Registered Nurse - Medical/SurgicalBayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Medical/Surgical team at St. Joseph's Hospital - South. The RN responsibilities include:

* Independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
* Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
* Professional accountability and development.
* The Clinical Nurse II performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Certifications and Licensures:

* BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
* RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
* ACLS Certification, if required by department
* Nurse Specialty certification is preferred

Education:

* Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
* Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred

Experience:

* 1 year of RN experience in acute care or 6 months RN experience in acute care with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment is required.
