Job Title: Medical Receptionist

Dept.: Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine

Reports to: Office Supervisor

This is a full-time position for an experienced Medical Receptionist with our Tampa Ortho office. This role is responsible for the management of all traffic and the front window. Check-in/ out process, insurance verification. Assist patients and providers at the conclusion of the patient's visit. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8:00-5:00.

Keys to Success in this Role:

Prepare charts prior to patient visit
Assist traffic at front window
Complete check in/out processes
Assist provider and patient to the conclusion of the visit
Process charges
Address tasks in a timely manner
Answer phones as needed

Job Qualifications:

High school graduate or GED equivalent
Strong customer service orientation
Excellent telephone etiquette
Strong team player
Basic computer proficiency
Medical office experience preferred

Physical and Mental Demands:

Normal physical ability; able to sit for long periods
Normal concentration and normal complexity of decision making
High level verbal and written communication skills
Above average ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
