The terminals group within Chase Merchant Services is focused on key initiatives that will deliver our new terminals suite to our merchants while also simplifying their servicing experience and that of our internal stakeholders. The Executive Director, Terminals Infrastructure, will be focused on leading a team of 4 Product Owners and Managers that will deliver these capabilities. This individual will work closely with our internal and external partners to ensure we understand the needs of our clients and deliver best in class solutions. This candidate will deliver a robust product roadmap using their expertise in product management, customer & client experience, business engineering, technical architecture, and agile delivery. The ideal candidate understands the payments industry landscape (consumers, merchants, acquirers, networks, issuers...), payment types & methods (credit card, debit card, ACH, and alternatives), design thinking (client journey, UX, moments of truth...), consumer & merchant payment channels (e/m-commerce, POS...), modern technology stacks (cloud, big data, micro services, API's, etc.), and industry business models. Finally, the ideal candidate is a highly-organized and self-motivated leader who designs customer-obsessed products, manages a product release plan, flexibly adapts to internal & market forces, and has superior influencing / relationship management skills. Responsibilities: ? Manage the terminals infrastructure roadmap, inclusive of Estate Management, Fulfillment and Vendor Software Integration ? Ensure roadmap is influenced by clear client journey maps ? Manage the roadmap/pipeline that balances stakeholder inputs and MVP/MMP release outputs ? Design a product architecture that reduces time-to-market for new features, simplifies internal/external dependencies, and scales to a global environment ? Provide clear direction to the team to ensure objectives and goals are achieved ? Partner with teams across product, design, technology, legal, risk, legal, compliance, etc. to manage prioritization & controls ? Identify potential roadblocks and develop recommendations ? Monitor any product change request and assist when required in resolving production related problems ? Set team goals and objectives ? Conduct and maintain regular coaching and feedback ? Work with 3rd party vendors/ partners to enhance product offering ? Work with cross-functional partners to strengthen product controls, compliance, and risk environment Requirements: ? Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred ? 10+ years in product development or platform transformation for financial services organizations ? 7-10+ years experience in payments industry required; merchant acquiring preferred ? 5-7 years experience with modern technology stacks, including cloud, big data, micro services, API's, etc. ? Proven track record of managing the end-to-end product development lifecycle (PDLC) for complex, large-scale initiatives ? Strong executive presence; comfortable interacting with and presenting to all levels of management ? Strong ability to analyze opportunities & problems, recommend solutions, and communicate effectively & confidently (both verbal and written) ? Strong influencing and partnership / collaboration skills to drive cross-functional teams ? Ability to productively work in a matrix management organization ?
