DEPCOM Power is looking to hire a Project Engineering Manager. This is a remote role that requires up to 50% travel.

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Direct and coordinate the project design activities on assigned utility scale solar PV projects.
• Coordinate with all Engineering disciplines on updating engineering drawings, permitting support, or assistance on solving engineering problems as they arise.
• Directly interface with project owners, establish client deliverables, and fulfill project needs.
• Work with various permitting agencies throughout the country to obtain construction permits.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Legal, Accounting, and Executive Management.
• Maintain project documentation related to design.
• Identify critical constraints and devise contingency plans.
• Communicate project expectations to the project team related to engineering.
• Ensure engineering work meets applicable codes, industry standards and safety practice.
• Assist Procurement in determining quantities, lead times, and applicability of selected equipment and material. The Experience You Will Bring
  Requirements:
  
  • BS Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Strong understanding of prime contract and subcontract language What Will Put You Ahead
