are looking for an experienced Payment Poster to join our revenue
cycle department at our headquarters in Apollo Beach. Responsible
for the expedient and accurate posting of payments received and
claims submission.DUTIES:--- Review all payments to ensure
accuracy. --- Reviews payment information to ensure that there is
no missing or incomplete information. --- Answer calls related to
patient balances. --- Set up patient payment plans. --- Reconcile
bank deposits to EMR accounts. --- Calculate correct patient
responsibility and adjustments. --- Post all patient and insurance
payments for assigned segment of receipt to EMR system. --- Ensure
all patient accounts are balanced, posted, and reconciled across
multiple systems. --- Perform necessary contractual adjustments on
accounts. --- Collaborate with the manager and team to research
third party payer medical and administrative policy that may affect
billing operations-communicating relevant changes to physicians,
clinicians and staff as directed bymanager. --- Maintain
confidentiality in regard to patient account status and the
financial affairs of the clinic/corporation. --- Participate in the
month end process and client reconciliation on a daily, weekly and
monthly basis. --- Properly communicates and documents payment
denials in the practice management system and to the appropriate
billing representative in a timely manner. --- Ensure all protocols
for the appropriate clients are created, maintained and observed.
--- Process and review all payments in accordance with fee
schedules where available. --- Ability to prioritize workload
according to requested time frame and clinical relevance. This
includes urgent and stat requests and the ability to start the
referral process at the time of checkout from the Clinic. ---
Effectively communicate with patients, physicians and other staff
both within the Clinic and at outside facilities providing
accurate, timely, and responsive information --- Ensure efficient
telephone communication. --- Demonstrate courtesy and helpfulness
toward patients and their families. --- Work closely with
management team to identify areas of opportunities regarding
processes and training within the organization that deals within
the payment poster role. --- Perform other duties as
assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS OR LICENSES: Have at least 2-4
years' experience of medical payment posting, billing and coding
experience MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
--- Knowledge of Third Party Operating procedures, Regulations, and
Billing requirements as well as Government Reimbursement programs
EMR system experience (we use an ONC certified system) Insurance
Credentialing experience (preferred) Prior experience with
Healthcare insurance authorizations submissions/denialsKNOWLEDGE,
SKILLS & ABILITIES: --- Computer savvy and Data Entry skills ---
Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills --- Great
interpersonal skills --- Strong attention to detail --- Highly
organized --- Familiarity with computers and other office
equipment. --- Maintain calm and positive attitude in stressful
situations. --- Ability to respond to changing workload and work
environment --- Ability to complete work tasks in timely manner.

utilization of self-evaluation, patient evaluations, and supervisor
evaluations to modify job performance. --- Ability to articulate
and demonstrate professional image of Department
Scheduler/Coordinator to patients, other professionals, and the
public as evidenced by level of practice. --- Must maintain patient
confidentiality in accordance with hospital policy and HIPPA
guidelines.
