Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A full-time position is available in Port Charlotte,
FL, for an experienced Special Education Teacher to lead an
Elementary self-contained Exceptional Student Education (ESE)
classroom. This role requires managing a diverse range of learning
levels and exceptionalities while promoting curriculum goals and
moderating student behaviors effectively. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage an Elementary self-contained ESE classroom. Develop
and implement individualized lessons tailored to varying learning
needs. Monitor and promote students' academic and behavioral
progress. Collaborate with staff and families to support student
development. Maintain records and comply with state education
guidelines. Qualifications: Florida ESE certification. Florida K-6
or PreK-3 General Education certification. Proven experience
working in a self-contained special education setting. Strong
skills in behavior management alongside curriculum instruction.
Ability to address the unique needs of students with
exceptionalities. Work Details: Full-time contract position. 35
hours per week. Located in Port Charlotte, Florida. This
