Job Description Job Description 7th Grade Boys Basketball Coach:
Bueker Middle School is looking for a dedicated, motivated, and
student-centered 7th Grade Boys Basketball Coach to lead and grow
our middle school basketball program. The Head Coach is responsible
for developing a competitive program that emphasizes character,
academic achievement, teamwork, and sportsmanship while creating a
positive and inclusive experience for all student-athletes. Key
Responsibilities Plan, organize, and lead all aspects of the school
program Develop practice plans and game strategies aligned with
program goals Teach and reinforce fundamental skills, discipline,
and sportsmanship Foster a culture of accountability, respect, and
academic success Supervise and mentor assistant coaches if
applicable Ensure compliance with school district, state athletic
association, and league rules Communicate effectively with
athletes, parents, administrators, and staff Promote player safety,
including proper conditioning and injury prevention Support
off-season training, player development, and program growth
Represent the school positively within the community Preferred
Attributes Teaching certification or ability to teach within the
district (if applicable) Experience building or sustaining a
competitive program Positive role model who emphasizes character
