This role offers an opportunity to work in a compassionate environment, assisting patients with their billing and insurance needs while ensuring a smooth financial experience. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and process all billing data related to patient accounts and medical claims - Assist patients with questions regarding their bills, insurance coverage, and payment options - Verify insurance information and ensure accurate claim submissions - Collect authorizations for office visits and procedures, and send medical records requests - Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve billing discrepancies - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient financial records - Maintain billing software by updating rate change, cash spreadsheets, and current collection reports - Educate patients on their financial responsibilities and available payment plans - Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and privacy standards Requirements: Skills and Qualifications: - Certified Professional Coder certification is required - Previous experience in medical billing, patient financial services, or a related field is required - Strong understanding of medical billing processes and insurance claim procedures - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping - Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality - Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite - Knowledge of fertility treatment procedures and terminology is a plus Join our team and be part of a supportive, growth-oriented environment committed to helping patients achieve their family-building goals.
